Weighing a semaglutide care offer

Pause at claims that do not match the product.

Keep the offer open beside these questions. Ask for the named person, named product and checkable record behind each claim.

Ask who makes the prescribing decision

  • What assessment happens before any prescription?
  • Can the person treating me decide against a prescription?

Keep in mind The law checked on September 26, 2026 requires a valid prescription for a prescription medicine; an offer to dispense it without one breaks that rule.

Ask what the approval claim refers to

  • Is the claim about an approved medicine or just a business listed with the FDA?
  • Is the product a finished medicine or made to order?

Keep in mind At the September 26, 2026 check, a claim of FDA approval for a medicine prepared to order was false; the FDA regulates medicines in the US.

FDA registration means a business is listed in the agency's records. That listing did not mean the business or its medicine had FDA approval at that check.

Ask for records beyond a badge

  • Can I find the person treating me in the right state licence record?
  • Can I match the pharmacy to its state record?
  • Will I get a written explanation of the product and the cost?

Keep in mind The Federal Trade Commission warns that convincing seals, logos and money-back claims on health sites can be fabricated.

If an answer stays vague, keep the question open and pause the decision.
